The other day, sortof goofing around on Craigslist, I did a lil search on mason jars. Hit the freakin' jackpot my friends. I found Betty. She has over 300 mason jars in her garage and likes to get rid of them in increments of 60 (interesting right?). She had big ones and little ones, all the different jar brands, some had lids, most didn't, all were clean and ready for me. Needless to say, I walked away with six dozen of 'em. Holla!
table top decorations = check!
*note: love this picture and how they used all different sizes of candles in the different sized jars....great detail.

Whoa, I am going to hope that when I look in to this your luck = mine! Well done!!
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of leftover jars from our wedding too. I love this set up with the various sized candles!
ReplyDeleteRock on girl! That's awesome! Are you painting them blue or leaving them clear?
ReplyDeleteWow. That's impressive. Have fun with them
ReplyDeleteI would be seriously LOST w/o Craig & his list. Unlike all those other "bride" sites, there's no shipping cost. I cannot believe a) how much I found there, or b) how much is going right back on there when the shindig is done.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!! Hooray for Betty!
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing! I went thrift store searching recently and saw a bunch really cheap and thought of you. Is that weird that I think of my blogging friends in everyday life?
ReplyDeleteOK, awesome score, but that math doesn't add up. lots of 60 = 5 dozen. 6 dozen is more than 60, it's 72.... did she let you break her random number?
ReplyDeleteviolarulz: she sure did!
ReplyDeleteWould you be interested in selling them off after you use them? :)
