a song dedication - baby got back

That's right.

There was a special song dedication that happened towards the end of the evening.  The DJ announces it into the microphone...something along the lines of...

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Tommy has a special song he'd like to dedicate to his bride, Jessica."

And then you hear it...Sir Mix Alot...Baby Got Back.

I'm pretty sure I started screaming like a teeny bopper and threw myself back onto the dance floor.

Picture this:  Tommy and I in the middle - sing/screaming the words to each other...going nuts-o with our mad dance skills...surrounded by alllllllllll of our friends and cousins and siblings  Oh man.  A memory for the books.

We are a classy bunch.

  7. our officiant decided to sing this song into the microphone (karaoke style without the karaoke machine) at the end of the night at our wedding...it was hilarious...she even had a whole routine to go along with it.

and we danced too...like crazy kids!

  8. LOVE THIS!

(unrelated to the awesomeness of your wedding, Baby Got Back has special meaning in my family because my 11 year old brother sang this in karaoke... at my Bat Mitzvah. My mother nearly died of mortification and he had no idea what it all meant)
