My New Year's resolutions have yet to be set in stone. I do know that this year, straight up "survival" is at the top of that list...but I also want to be gentle with myself. I don't want to get down on myself for not working out...for drinking non-diet beverages...or for relaxing in front of the TV when there are things I "should" be doing. Guilt is something I experience on a daily basis and I hope that this year I shake that a little bit.
I am grateful for our glorious 2011...and for the grace of meeting my daughter, Clara. I am most excited to watch her grow!
