my first bridal buy!!

OK. After a few too many hours scouring Etsy I finally settled on the purchase of a birdcage veil! Why do I sorta feel like standing on the balcony to squeal my news to the world?! I'm riDICulously excited to get it!! My bridal portraits will be coming up soon, so I'm accumulating some props for it. I've got my eye on a couple huge glorious Etsy flowers, but I cannot make-up my mind between them. AND I don't even know what I'll wear for our real wedding...so my budget for these hair props is limited.

I guess, it's just becoming more and more real - this whole marriage and wedding thing...and this whole concept of "bride." Sure, I can type type type about it, and look at zillions of bridal pictures and pick out what I like and laugh at the stuff I find particularly silly...but when it comes down to actually being a bride...I don't know...it's hard to imagine. Does that happen to you?

And. No. Our families still don't know. (more on that drama later...)

  4. Beautiful veil! I love the flirty, sassy look of birdcage veils.

It took me some time to get used to the idea of being a BRIDE. It's really just now, after six months of being engaged, and having nailed down most of the major pieces of our wedding, that I can actually see myself as a bride (esp. b/c I never expected to be one, and certainly never expected to be as engrossed in wedding planning as I have become!).
