A new bloomin' love.
Just when I thought I knew what I wanted...this lil pretty walked into my life.
Details are so ridiculous.

*note: I was in a car accident this weekend...my first ever car accident. It was terrifying, and included hydroplaning in the rain on a major freeway in route to Phoenix. The pile up involved multiple cars...and thankfully we were all able to walk away...a lil shaky and teary...but no broken bones. Except, today I can't move my neck, so a trip to the doctor is next on my list of things to do. And every time I close my eyes I see/feel the car spinning into the cars ahead of me...needless to say I one tired girl.)
My car is shot and we will be selling her to a junkyard (so so so sad...I've had her for 12 years). Events like this change things. Budgeting for a new car is tricky when paying for your own wedding. What happens when the budget changes?
I'm feeling a little lost right now.
(Except Tommy and I get married in 97 days...and in knowing that, I don't feel so lost.)

Oh my goodness, so glad you're ok.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're okay!
ReplyDeleteWe have almost the same wedding date. I'm getting married May 22!
Jes!!! That place in the rain is bad, no one is used to it there. I'm so glad you're okay! And chin up about the money, it is just money in the long run. Everything will work out.
ReplyDeleteOh man, thats tough. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteOh no. I'm so sorry to hear that! I know an amazing chiropractor in Scottsdale if you're interested.
ReplyDeleteYou may get money from the insurance company of the person that is to blame for the accident, right?
OMG! I'm so glad you are alright. Don't delay seeing the doctor. I was in an accident many many years ago with no symptoms. Years later a chiropractor did an x-ray which showed my neck was damaged. Instead of curving forward, the vertebrae in my neck curve backward. It never occurred to me to see a doctor at the time.
ReplyDeleteoh dear! glad everyone was fine in a pile up like that!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh. so glad you're fine!
ReplyDeleteI'm SO relieved to hear that everyone walked away. Accidents are a very very scary thing. Don't stress about the car, it will workout in the end (car as a wedding present maybe? ;). Just be thankful you walked away without any major injuries. You are really really lucky.
ReplyDeleteoh no!!! I hope your neck will be okay. just try to relax and think of anything but that accident. maybe some light massage later in the week once the shock has left your body. cars are replaceable, you aren't.
ReplyDeleteJust focus on getting through it and taking good care of that neck...that is the most important thing right now...the money thing will work itself out...just focus on you. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are ok! Hopefully your neck is fine too.
ReplyDeleteEeek! My goodness! What a trauma. Hope the doctor finds that your neck is fine. Rest up and take care.
ReplyDeleteOh God! Hope you are doing alright, darling!
ReplyDeleteI was in a horrific car crash once before (careening across the freeway and into oncoming traffic, the cops told us we were lucky to be alive. My prayers and thoughts and all the good vibes I can muster up being sent your way!
so glad you are all safe, much strength & love coming your way!
ReplyDeleteEEKS! Scary. I hope you are well.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're okay, that's so scary! My family and I were in an accident a few years ago, and let me tell you, I never believed that whiplash was real until I felt it. I hope that you heal super quick and don't stress too much, everything will work out.
ReplyDeleteHow sorry I am what you're going through. I do promise, the scariness eventually fades and all you are left with is the love and appreciation that you're together, you made it, and how much the memory of the accident reminds you always of your appreciation of this.
ReplyDeleteHugs and love and strength to you, Sister.
Damn damn damn
ReplyDeleteI wish I could time back time. I am so sorry about your accident and your car. Dont worry about the finances. Everything will work out. Somehow. It always has to, right?
P.S. I am not anti traditional bride. I think you will look beautiful in your dress. You are a pretty girl ;) I was just pointing out that for someone who doesn't want to look like everyone else I am clearly a silly head who does want to look like a traditional bride (long white dress.)
Oh no, so sorry to hear about your accident. Hope you are ok?
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear about the car accident and so glad you're ok!
ReplyDeleteOne step and one task at a time. You can certainly replan if needed. Money is money too. It will come, it can be spent, and re-earned.
Wow, I read this post a little late, but WHOA. The idea of a crash on the freeway terrifies me. I'm so glad you're OK!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about the car crash...but so happy to hear that you are safe + sound. That is what matters most.
