swept away: a veil tale

I loved...no no...I LURVED my veil.  It was made specially for me, it was the exact creamy color as my dress, and it was lovely.  I felt like it helped put me in that "bridal zone" where I really felt like a bride...it brought everything together and made me feel spectacular.  (My veil was handmade by Cindy, the amazing designer behind Etsy's Fascinating Creations...she was a total sweetheart!)

I looked like a traditional bride in my lacy dress and chapel length veil...it wasn't necessarily the look that I thought I would embrace when we started planning our wedding.  The classic bride wasn't the look I was even shooting for - it simply evolved that way.  I didn't feel like I was wearing a costume, I felt like a million bucks!

The "flight of the veil" was totally unplanned...and actually a lil embarrassing for me...but Tommy loved it which made me embrace it as one of life's lil quirks!  It was such a random moment of total hilarity that makes me laugh when I see these pictures now.  (One Love managed to snap all the lil moments leading up to this....you know....as the take off was actually beginning!)
