I was SO elated to get this wedding from one of our readers, Stacy. Her wedding to her love, Logan, was jaw dropping gorgeous...and despite the dramatic backdrop of the heavenly Colorado mountain range, their wedding was beautifully simplistic. (I will let them tell their tale.) Congratulations you two! Thank you for sharing your joy!
When we were confronted with the overwhelming amount of options we had when planning our wedding, we knew we were a little in over our heads. Small or large? Venue? Food? Who to invite? All of these factors coupled with the realization that we didn't feel the need to be the center of attention by confirming our love for each other in front of hundreds of people, made both of us a little uneasy. The traditional wedding just wasn't for us.
After a little more collective brainstorming, we narrowed our wedding day options down. We now knew that we wanted to keep it very small, we wanted to go somewhere beautiful, and it had to be a place that neither of us had been to. At that point, it wasn't long before we stumbled upon gorgeous pictures online of intimate weddings that had taken place in Colorado - inside Rocky Mountain National Park.
We were married on October 1st, 2010 at Sprague Lake. Everything was even more beautiful on our wedding day than we could have hoped. Everyone looked beautiful and the weather was ideal. In retrospect, I don't think we would have changed anything about what will undoubtedly be one of the best days of our lives.
