I've never seen anything quite like these. Typically, the anniversary shots I see of couples celebrating their years together include finely crafted poses using leather furniture or old pianos in wheat fields...with coordinating vintage clothing, colorful quilts, and loads and loads of quirky props. You've seen them too, I'm sure. They are so pretty...of course...that's why they are wickedly popular.
BUT. This is what I want. A glimpse AT our beautiful life - IN our beautiful life. Wearing our real clothes, looking like we do, in our own home, surrounded by our reality. A glimpse of us just being us. Cuddling on the sofa...kissing in the kitchen...shooting hoops...being goofy...and well...being entirely us.
It's been a long time since Tommy and I have had our picture taken together - you know - one that we didn't shoot ourselves with outstretched arms. Someday.
Sign. Me. Up.
These are really great.... Love the beauty of seeing them in their real life.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes. When you want them done, can I take them?! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea too, I think even more than the glamour shots. You and I both got those at our wedding, I agree that THIS is what I want documented now.
I like the idea, and I love the first and last photos, but those are the only ones that seem very real to me.
ReplyDeleteI loove the idea and love all of the pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo shoot! Very real. Very artistic.
ReplyDeleteI've been pining for a professional family photo shoot too.
