| No maternity clothes yet - can you believe it? That BellaBand is magic I tell you!! |
Here I am at 25 weeks - the lil one is officially 25 weeks old. I've been preggo for over SIX MONTHS. I can't believe how fast it has flown by. Of course, being insanely busy at the hospital has caused a lot of that time to whiz by...however...I think I am spending plenty of time cherishing the feeling of being pregnant. I quite enjoy it!
This whole pregnancy thing is so amazing. My belly grows bigger EVERY FREAKING DAY. Sometimes, I swear I can feel it stretching and growing...as it's just whispers a lil soreness on my skin...but it isn't unpleasant or anything. It's sooo round now...people continue to tell me how huge I'm getting :-) It just makes me smile. The OB/Gyn residents at the hospital swear I look amazing for 25 weeks...little things like that make feel so good! Also, as huge as I feel my belly is - I haven't really gained much weight at all, and still don't wear maternity clothes to work (if you can believe that!). At my appointment last week I had barely gained 10 lbs - seriously - I felt like I had gained 20...but nope. My doc told me I am doing really well with that.
On other news...isn't our Christmas tree so adorable? We had decided to forgo purchasing a real (or even a fake!) Christmas tree this year - and instead decided to save our pennies for baby gear (as that stuff is pricey!). However, Tommy surprised me on my birthday with a sweet little 4 footer that he picked up at HomeDepot for a bargain $15!!
Best. Surprise. Ever.
I have a little collection of ornaments, antique blown glass, vintage bulbs, some sweet treasures from places I've been - I LOVE ORNAMENTS! And I had just enough to cover our teeny tree. Perfecto!

I can't believe you're 6 months along either, not only are you TINY but it seems like you just told us you were expecting! Also, this is super-stalkerish of me but since I used to live in Ithaca, I totally recognize the parking lot in the window of the first picture, haha!
