i'm the birthday girl

Today I turn 29 - and we've been celebrating all week :-)

I LOVE birthdays.  (Especially my own!)  EVERYTHING seems special.  The air, the food, the spring in my step....everything seems like it's there for help celebrate your birthday.  You know?   Except this one made me pause a little bit - I'm 29.  Wow.  I remember so clearly when 29 seemed so old.  Even 2 years ago 29 seemed lightyears away.  I'm not sure why that is - and why this age has such a stigma attached to it for so many of us.  Where did it come from??  The movies?  TV?  Where?

I'm not going to freak about it - 29 is bound to be the most amazing year ever!

    Happy 29th Birthday!

    Its my 29th tomorrow too and we are supposed to be flying to Orlando for a holiday if the snow over here ever stops!

    Let me put it in perspective for you. We had a huge 50th birthday party for a friend a year ago - it was a slumber party!

    A 70-year-old woman was there and she said "I WISH I was 50 again."

    Ha!

    Happy Birthday girl! 29 is HUGE! I'm glad that you're choosing to ignore that STUPID stigma that comes along with it. Life is what you make of it right? :)
