ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting this. Many of my friends have had or are having babies and it’s so easy to fall into the typical kid conversations of how cute and adorable they are. A lot of my friends have had boys but I think the same conversations should be had with them as well. So many times we bring up how strong and big boys are but what about how smart they are too? Thanks again for posting this.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is a fantastic article. Thank you!! I have re-read it twice to make sure I get everything out of it, and cement it into my brain. I love it. I used to be intentional with my words to kids when I taught school... but this is a great reminder...for I think I have fallen into the whole- kids are adorbale, so I comment on that first. What the heck. This is an eye opener. And....I am going to post about it on my blog. Thanks! :)
