 I didn't mention anything about Halloween.  It was great fun!  The actual DAY of Halloween was spent on an airplane to Arizona for job stuff...but Clara did wear a Halloween outfit and looks so adorably festive for the flight.

We did get to go Trick or Treating though!  The week before Halloween we were invited to a "Trunk or Treat" at the church of some of my co-residents...it was so adorable!  Tommy even dressed up like a banana...such a fun dad.  There were games and kiddos and candy galore!  There were stations where the kids could go "trick or treating" for candy...I took Clara around and was just enthralled with her experience.  After the first few stations she totally understood how the whole thing worked, and I was always so proud of her when she would say, "thank you" after getting her candy!  The hilarious thing is that she had no idea what candy was...but she loved getting it!  Later that night she had her FIRST Hershey's chocolate fun size bar.  She liked it. 

A few days later we went to a Halloween children's party - games, dancing, pizza, treats....the whole nine yards.  I love these adventures we have together.  I'm looking forward to a few more years of these kinds of celebrations.
