salt n' peppa

I was eating breakfast at my aunt and uncle's this morning and mentioned how much I adored their lovely napkins. Apparently, they were a wedding gift - and they have been using them for over 30 years (and they are still so beautiful...worn...loved...and beautiful). Gosh I like that. Using objects for a lifetime...objects that have a sweet sentimental value.

What about using vintage salt and pepper shakers for a cake topper? You could use 'em after! (Do people do this? Probably. I've just never seen it.)

These lil cuties would remind you of your day everytime you needed to spice stuff up. (What do people use the bride/groom cake topper figurines for?)

I went with forest creatures...pretty much perfection for a forest wedding. Oh yea, and I got all of these images from Ebay where none of them were over $15 and most were under $10.

I love how these lil guys are looking at each other!!

I just love these lil rolly poley people. (ummm...poley = sp?)

awwwwwwwwwwwwwww...

this isn't a salt n' peppa shaker...but it was so cute I had to include it.
