Like I said in the previous post, I'm not a big fan of being the center of attention. I don't like people making a fuss over me. I tend to feel awkward in these situations, though I wish I didn't. My shyness doesn't pop up in small group settings of course, or one on one situations...but in large groups...don't know quite what it is. (yep...I can just feeeeeeel my friends shaking their heads at this...because around them I am confident and self assured!)
So. Dear Wish Granter...please kick the silly bashfulness out the window (how about forever, not just my wedding?) Many thanks.
I feel you on this one - I am completely fine with friends and small groups, but shy in huge gathering. I am hoping that because my wedding is only ~75 people, and they will all be people I know and love, my shyness will disappear for the big day.
ReplyDeleteMy fiance and I are both like this... we'd both rather be behind the camera that in front of it. Having 100+ people stare at us for entire evening is going to be trying to say the least! lol
ReplyDeleteI can totally imagine. But you know what, it is about you, but also about the day, the dancing, the food, the feeling. You will be the center, but in such a good way and see so many people important to you. It'll be great (and people like to talk to you one on one so it won't be that bad). :)
ReplyDeleteRight there with you friend....
ReplyDeleteI am the SAME WAY!!! And that photo is amazing!
ReplyDeletemaybe you'll be more comfortable/less bashful because you know most of the people there. I know that's usually my problem, I get bashful or drunkenly brazen around strangers where I'm more proper/formal yet loose-lipped with family.
