OHMYGOSH!!!
Today, while I was at the hospital, in between surgical cases the BABY STARTED MOVING!!!
So clearly our lil one is a mover and a shaker. It was seriously amazing.
This was the first time I felt it and I was freaking out - smiling and laughing and holding my belly and beaming and wanting to run up to everyone and put their hands on my stomach so they could experience it too! I even whipped out my cell phone and started texting friends and family with the news! It was such a magical moment.
I remember hearing friends talk about this during their own pregnancies and not really thinking much about it - but I am overwhelmed now. This whole pregnancy thing is miraculous. It's big. And incredible. And so very special. I never grasped just how powerful pregnancy is. I love it more that I get to share it with my husband - he gets as excited as I do about these things.
AND - tomorrow we find out the gender of our lil one!! Such exciting memories we make everyday.
Jes, that is so exciting. I am sure that with each milestone is feels that much more real.

ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you! I love feeling my best friend's baby moving around in her tummy. Now it's 30 weeks it's doing some pretty massive kicks! I bets you guys are so excited about tomorrow! xx
