nesting

I came home from work one day last week to this:
Tommy picked out this carseat (which killed me because it had pink on it - and he was so nervous about all the pink in baby stores) - but he thought it was "cute" which I thought was "cute"... so there ya go.  The little birdie rattle was a gift from our baby shower... it melted my lil heart to see that Tommy had attached it to the car seat for our little one to enjoy.  I love noticing little things like that.

and this:
He had taken all the adorable clothes we had been gifted at the baby shower and spread them all out on the guest bed.  He wanted to see what they all looked like, and to later remove tags and such so he could wash them.  I thought that was pretty adorable too.

and this:
He also took out the bumGenius cloth diapers and lined them up, ready for wash
and this:
He cleaned the baby sheets that we just got in the mail and all her baby blankets.  Then he put my fave sheets on the crib bed...and I about died when I saw it because the fabric is so stinkin' cute!

Tommy spent the entire day preparing for baby.  He washed a bunch of the baby's blankets, clothes and bed sheets in special baby laundry detergent (Dreft).  He laid out all of her softest clothes on the guest bed in the nursery (to see what we have and to help us pick out her "going home outfit")... then he put the sheet and mattress pad on the bed...lined up all the cloth diapers...folded all her freshly cleaned receiving blankets in the closet and clipped on the first toy to the car seat.

He also got out our duffel bags to pack our "hospital stay stuff" - and went to online websites to find out what we needed to bring with us (all of those things need to be cleaned in special baby friendly laundry detergent too).  He wrote me out of a list of things I need to put in the bag - as he thought about packing the bag for me and then realized that I tend to be a lil too picky for that.  This isn't even all - he also called around town to find the best pediatrician in the area and booked him for us.  His organization is blowing me away these days.  He is clearly psyched.

I didn't anticipate having a nester husband.  I think it's the cutest thing ever!!

She is DUE in one month (March 15).  Omg.
