This Wednesday we have an appointment to find out the gender of our little bambino! WE ARE SO EXCITED! Either way I am excited....a boy would be great fun...but another girl would mean sisters (a girl would also mean not having to purchase a single thing because we have lots of girl gear!) Neither of us have our fingers crossed for anything except a healthy baby...honestly.
So before the big reveal I will share some of the names that Tommy and I have been considering as potentials. Tommy and I are so funny....some names I will LOVE and he will hate...and vice versa. I've included both of our lists!
*disclaimer...there are a couple names that were magically on BOTH of our lists as our top picks...and I don't want to share them quite yet. You may remember that we didn't even share Clara's name until she was actually BORN (not even with our parents!) I dunno...it's our thing. I don't want to hear people's horror stories or nasty thoughts about the name we have selected for our baby...so that's that.

I'm the same way about not telling names! I also avoided others' lists because I didn't want to not pick a name just because someone else had!
ReplyDeleteAnd just wanted to say I LOVE the name Amelia. Like, it's a top pick of mine for if we have another girl. However, my husband hates it :(
I LOVE the name Henry. It's my new baby name obsession for the future. Luke and Liam are favorites too- I knew two adorable toddlers with those names when I worked at a daycare. They had the absolute best kid personalities.

ReplyDeleteoh man...i have to tell you jes... you keep on popping up in my head when I see my little girl growing up so fast- I want another one! And you are going to have one!! I am so happy for your little family. i can't wait to find out if youre having a lil boy or girl- then what sweet name you choose. so much fun! And soon you'll feel that sweet kicking!! Oh, its the best. I do miss pregnancy. I hope you're enjoying it!! And now a little more settled with job- not taking your boards! and knowing what parenthood is all about.
ReplyDeleteI've kept a running list of top names in my phone for as long as I can remember. The problem is, Tiho and I have over three girl names (both first and middle) ready to go and cannot for the life of us agree on a single boy name. (we're not trying yet, but love to play the name game! Well *I* love to play the name game, ha). Just watch, we're going to end up with a house of boys, I know it.
