yes...i forgot my dress at home
Not only did I forget my WEDDING DRESS. I forgot our WEDDING LICENSE. Two biggies. Like...mandatory biggies.
And ummm....recall ours was a destination wedding.
Thank goodness my little sister saved the day. She was leaving Phoenix later that night, so I called her and she packed them up. (But poor thing...on her way to Flagstaff that night, she had a vehicle malfunction and couldn't get there...in fact....she was stranded on the side of the freeway until AAA could save her...at midnight Then the next morning, it took her nearly 3 extra hours to get to Flagstaff because of bad traffic, numerous accidents, and fires off the freeway. Yikes. I OWE her big time.)
I also forgot little things, like the pajamas, a sweatshirt, ummmm.....PANTS. Now, I'm not a total idiot as I did pack sundresses (but it could have been cold, and I wasn't prepared for cold....turns out I didn't need pants anyway...so that was ok) Also, another biggie I forgot was my pretty lil wedding bracelet. So nope, I didn't get to wear it after all...major bummer.
When it came time to the wedding, I forgot to take my lipgloss - or to pack a lil make-up bag to freshen up during the night. This means that the make-up I applied at noon-ish was the same stuff I was wearing at 11pm. Hummm...not typically the best idea. (I think personally, my makeup looked better after it had been on for awhile....as I put on a lot of it...probably too much to be honest....see....well....I had a zit...and pretty much used an entire foundation on it. But anyway.) The biggest bummer was my lip gloss. Thankfully, one of my bridesmaids remembered her's (she was a saint and I would come running to her every hour or so when my lips were too dry for words.) WHO forgets lip gloss on their wedding day? (Ummm...or their dress?)
I remembered my yellow rain galoshes, even though the forecast swore it would be nothing but sunshine. And I remembered everything else. I think. (there very well may be something I'm forgetting here.)
Did you forget something on your wedding day?
